Muga Cup 2026

Muga Cup 2026 is a kendo competition in Brno organised by Seishinkan Kendo Brno. Training will take place on Saturday, followed by the competition on Sunday. The tournament will include the following categories:

Adolescents — born between 2012 and 2014
Juniors — born between 2009 and 2011
Women — born in 2010 or earlier
Men Kyu — born in 2008 or earlier
Men Dan — born in 2010 or earlier

Female participants born in 2009 or 2010 may compete in both the Junior and Women’s categories. The participant’s technical grade at the application deadline will determine the category in which they compete. Results from the Adolescents category do not count towards the National Cup, as this category is not part of the National Cup ranking.

The Muga Cup is part of the Czech National Cup. Participants must therefore be full members of the Czech Kendo Federation or of a federation affiliated with the EKF/FIK. Participants and accompanying persons may stay overnight in the gym from Saturday to Sunday for a small fee.

Organiser: Seishinkan Kendo Brno / Czech Kendo Federation.
